4th Procedure (9 MAY 2022)

Surgery Date: 9 May 2022 (age 35)
Total Grafts: 1,378 total grafts (450 ones, 310 twos, and 618 threes and fours)
Method: FUE
Purpose: Softened and touched up frontal hairline, removed 2 large grafts from previous FUT surgeries in frontal hairline and right side temple

Five years after my FUE scar revision procedure, I came back to Austin, Texas to have another FUE procedure with Dr. Daniel McGrath to soften up my frontal hairline.

During the 2020 Pandemic and all of 2021, I grew out my hair and my facial hair to the longest it had ever been.

These before pictures show the full results from my previous FUT/strip procedures from 2014 and 2015 and the 2017 FUE scar revision procedure.

I didn’t need to do this FUE procedure but I wanted to soften up my frontal hairline and remove two larger grafts in my center-left part of my hairline and right side temple that looked a little too coarse.

Below are pictures from various stages of my procedure.

Pre-Operative

Dr. McGrath’s team has greatly updated its patient services since my last visit in 2017.

My before pictures are way better now

To my surprise, I did not need to have my entire head shaved for this procedure. The very front of my hairline was buzzed a bit and the donor area where my repaired FUT scar was buzzed.

Anesthestizing my Scalp

A newcomer to Dr. McGrath’s practice is Dodge Feeler, who is a family nurse practitioner. Dodge helps sedate me and as well as assist Dr. McGrath and his technicians in harvesting the grafts and placing them
